IIPA was inaugurated by the first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru in 1954, the Indian Institute of Public Administration is in the forefront of capacity building for good governance and civil society. Established as the premier institute for promoting and providing for the study of Public Administration, strengthening Policy Making, and for service delivery, the Institute is rapidly adapting itself to the requirements of modernizing Government by improving its capability and Infrastructure. The Institute has an outstanding record of training, research and consultancy in the field of Public Administration.
